Mary T. McKinney, Ph.D., MA
Dr. McKinney is currently the Director of the Duquesne University Center for Green Industries and Sustainable Business Growth. She is also an adjunct professor in the A.J. Palumbo School of Business Administration, assisting businesses in improving communications, marketing, sales, management and business planning, as well as overseeing two U.S. Department of Commerce Market Cooperator Development Cooperator Program grant. She has been a consultant and seminar leader for large and small companies. Dr. McKinney is active in the Pittsburgh area community, serving on several boards of nonprofit organizations, professional associations and organizations promoting entrepreneurship. Dr. McKinney is a past winner of the Small Business Administration's Woman in Business Advocate of the Year award on both the local and regional levels. Gonzalo Manchego, MBA
Gonzalo is the Business and Sustainability Consulting Manager here at the Center for Green Industries, assisting clients with needs in business development, growth, start-up, marketing, and sustainability. In his career with Duquesne University business consulting centers, he has advised dozens of businesses and individuals with great success. He is an engineer by trade, having spent 15 years as a quality control chief for a large brewery where he led a number of cross functional interdepartmental projects striving for continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and environmental compliance. Gonzalo earned his MBA, with Honors, from the Palumbo Donahue School of Business at Duquesne University and has been an expert small business consultant ever since. Brent Rondon, MPA, CGBP
Manager, Global Business at Center for Green Industries and Sustainable Business Growth
Brent is an experienced staff business consultant and Global Business Manager for the Center for Green Industries, specializing in trade financing, exporting, and general business development consulting. He has a combined 10 years of experience in global business between the Pittsburgh region and the world, assisting Green Industries, Environmental, and Renewable Energy business to grow their international sales. He has assisted manufacturing and technology companies to break markets in Mexico, and South America through the awarded Duquesne University Small Business Development Center. Theo is the Marketing Coordinator at the Center for Green Industries, managing all public relations and marketing campaigns and coordinating all training programming and client intake. Previously, he directed a non-profit community outreach legal education program in upstate New York and established a seminar program dedicated to making the general public aware of potential pitfalls and benefits in nearly every aspect of the law. He is dedicated to building valuable training and workshop programming for the Center's clients and increasing the Center's visibility within the region. Web Content Manager
Print Media Designer
Christopher is the Web Content Manager and Print Media Designer for the Center for Green Industries and Sustainable Business Growth. He designs and maintains the Center's website. He helps design the brochures and tip sheets that are distributed to the Center's clients and used during conferences and seminars. Christopher is graduating from Duquesne University in May 2014 with a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education Mathematics and Specialist Certifications in Business and Instructional Technology. Print Media Designer
Nick is a Project Assistant at the Center for Green Industries and Sustainable Business Growth. He does research and writing in support of the Center's workshops, guides, consultants, and marketing. He also handles social media, edits manuals published by the Center, and designs print media. He is currently a Master's student in Duquesne's English Department, and can be reached via firstname.lastname@example.org.
