Training and Seminars
The Center for Green Industries And Sustainable Business Growth regularly offers training seminars. Some are offered free-of-charge, and some require a small registration fee. All events are on a first come, first served basis.
June 5th -- The Center will host a paneled break-out session on sustainability at the Entrepreneur's Growth Conference organized by the University's Small Business Development Center. Come here from Jason Capps of Bella Sera restaurant and catering, Rob Hosken of Building Performance Architecture, and Denise Hanchulak of Reaxis Inc. chemicals about their experiences in green industries and how to implement sustainable strategies into your business.
August 7th -- The Center will be traveling to Franklin, PA to host an educational seminar along with Green Building Alliance. The seminar will be held at the Liberty Building which is currently undergoing a $1.5 million renovation that includes a living roof and energy & water efficient building fixtures.
November 3-7 -- AEE Certified Energy Manager training. This special 5-day seminar provides an in-depth, comprehensive learning experience and problem-solving forum for those who desire a broader understanding of the latest energy cost reduction techniques and strategies.
