Welcome to Duquesne University.  As a new faculty member, you are    joining an established community of teacher-scholars, where we value both the expertise you bring to promote students' learning and your unique contributions to scholarship.

Duquesne’s Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE) supports all faculty members in college teaching and their faculty careers.  CTE offers orientations, workshops, book studies, one-on-one consulting, and online and print resources to promote your success as an educator.  The Center also updates annually the Faculty Resource Guide, which summarizes policies, resources and services.  Please take some time to become acquainted with CTE by exploring this website.
