Fees for Clinic Services

The University Clinic is a nonprofit, fee-for-service, outpatient facility which provides diagnostic and therapeutic services for selected speech, language, and hearing problems.  Fees for services are billed monthly.  We can also offer -- on a limited basis -- services on a sliding fee scale for those who qualify.

Insurance Coverage

The Clinic is not yet a Medicaid or Medicare provider, but we are providers for many health insurance companies, and work in association with other third-parties, such as the Commonwealth Office of Vocational Rehabilitation.  Insurance does not always cover services; we can help you determine if services are covered under your specific policy.   We do not bill secondary insurances.  [Contact our Client Services Representative at 412.396.1167 for information about insurance coverage or qualifications for fee reductions.]

Charges for the  most common services are:

•  $ 88.00 for individual therapy (50 minutes)
•  $ 33.00 for group therapy
•  $121.00 for a basic evaluation

[Note: We offer many services, so we cannot list the fees for all of them. We will tell you the exact cost of the specific service you require before beginning treatment.]


We accept payment by cash, check, or credit cards (Master Card, Visa, Discover).
