About the Undergraduate PMHPP
Preparing for a career in allopathic medicine, dentistry, osteopathic medicine, optometry, chiropractic medicine, podiatry, veterinary medicine or other health profession takes passion, hard work and solid, long-range planning. At Duquesne, that planning can start as early as your freshman year with our undergraduate Pre-Medical and Health Professions Programs (PMHPP).
Who We Are
The PMHPP is not an academic major or degree-it's a multi-track pre-professional program that provides you with expanded opportunities, and comprehensive, individualized guidance and advisement. We also offer professional preparation that helps to distinguish yourself academically and that will aid you in developing important professional competencies.
As a PMHPP student, you'll benefit from ongoing direction and dedicated support. Throughout your time at Duquesne, we'll help you evaluate your goals, develop the skills and competencies you'll need, and engage in unique and clinically relevant coursework, research and leadership opportunities that will help you stand out from the competition.
