Aaron currently serves on the faculty of the Mary Pappert School of Music as Ensemble Librarian, Orchestra Personnel Manager and Brass Coach for Symphony Band. A previous appointment at Duquesne was resident artist, where he performed with and coached students in various aspects of the Ensemble Department. Since graduation, Aaron has become a versatile trombonist, freelancing throughout the southwestern Pennsylvania region. Highlights have included performances with the Pittsburgh Opera Orchestra in Puccini's Turandot, as well as playing in the orchestra for the vocal ensemble Il Divo with members of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. In the 2011-2012 season, he served as acting principal trombone of the Johnstown Sympony Orchestra. As a founding member of the Iron City Brass Quintet, he was invited to perform in the quarterfinal round in the Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition held in South Bend, Indiana.
