Research

My research interests include exploring the process of developing community-university and global partnerships, the challenges of OT practice that occupational therapists face in Africa and strategies and supports to overcome these barriers; exploring the barriers to social and occupational inclusion that persons with disabilities face, their strategies and triumphs to overcome these barriers as they move from dependency to interdependency, particularly those living in Africa and returning war veterans.
