I came to Duquesne University to teach sociology and research processes of evaluation in 1984 after completing post-doctoral studies at Duke University. I am married and have three children.
I teach and have taught various courses in the Sociology Department and in the Graduate Center for Social and Public Policy including the following: Correctional Policy and Practice, Criminology, Social Deviance, Senior Seminar in Criminal Justice, Sociological Theories, Drugs and Society, Person and Society, Survey of Sociology, Sports and Society, and Person and Society.
