Imac Reynaga Holmes is currently a Clinical Instructor and the Admissions Facilitator for the Counselor Education Program in the Department of Counseling Psychology and Special Education at Duquesne University. Dr. Holmes is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor and Approved Clinical Supervisor. She enjoys working in the community with traditionally underserved populations. Her research interests are in the area of multiculturally competent counseling and counselor education. Working with children, individuals and families from diverse backgrounds became the foundation for her interest in providing holistic care integrating the spiritual,creative and relational aspects of the being. Her research will continue to explore the multifaceted aspect of wellness with the hope of growing in understanding on how family life, personal values, community, religion and spirituality interconnect.
