Since 2006, Dr. Lynn Hertrick Leavitt has instructed the MLLS 710 ‘Introduction to the Graduate Study of Leadership' on-line course. Her experience includes over 20 years of both university administration and teaching graduate and undergraduate students.
In her previous role as Director of the Center for Service-Learning and Leadership at George Mason University (GMU) in Fairfax, VA, Lynn designed, implemented and coordinated the undergraduate interdisciplinary Minor in Leadership Studies and the Certificate in Leadership Studies. She collaborated with faculty across the university to integrate service-learning into their courses and supervised the coordination of leadership development and community engagement programs for students.
Lynn also provides consulting and training to a variety of organizations across the country on topics including leadership development, cross-cultural communication, team-building and community/civic engagement.
