Nancy D. Perkins, J.D.

Nancy D. Perkins is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Mt. Holyoke College and a magna cum laude graduate of Nova Southeastern Shepard Broad Law Center, where she served as Associate Articles Editor of the Law Revew. She joined the faculty at Duquesne University School of Law in 1983 after serving as a Legal Writing Professor at Nova for four years. She teaches in the areas of Property and Environmental Law, and her research and scholarship explores the intersection of these two areas with a special focus on sustainability, equity, and feminism. She is a member of the Citizens Advisory Council of the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection and currently serves as the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs at the Law School.
