Loaner Equipment Policies and Procedures
Given the demand for loaner equipment and classroom support needs, the MSDC will provide training and setup assistance for first time users. For repeat reservations, users are responsible for the setup and return of the equipment to 211 Canevin Hall. Faculty and staff are accountable for equipment from the time it leaves the MSDC until it is returned. Students can only reserve equipment under the signature of a faculty member.
EQUIPMENT IS NOT INTENDED FOR OFF CAMPUS USE
Closed captioning is not readily available in every classroom but can be accommodated in several ways: using closed captioning televisions, implementing CC decoders into classroom podiums, or through the use of subtitled DVDs. It is recommended professors request all classroom media in one of the following formats: English for the Hearing Impaired or SDH (Subtitled for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing)
Please contact the MSDC before the beginning of a semester to make certain a student's needs can be met .
