About the School of Education

As I complete my 11 year tenure as Dean of the School of Education, there are many achievements which come to mind - - achievements that were only possible because of the dedication and commitment to excellence of the faculty and staff. The School of Education enjoys national ranking, nationally accredited academic degree programs, a sustainable and competitive identity, and the most diverse faculty on the Bluff.

These are no small accomplishments, but represent the focused vision of all members of the School of Education.

I am deeply honored to have been a part of this effort, and I leave fully confident that the advances which have already been made will be even more enhanced and expanded under the leadership of Dr. Cindy Walker, the incoming Dean.
