The Duquesne University School of Education and the Barbara A. Sizemore Urban Education Initiative are hosting its 3rd Annual Sizemore Youth Conference on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 and 8th Annual Dr. Barbara A. Sizemore Summer Conference on Thursday, May 25, 2017. The theme of this year's conference is "Myths and Stereotypes: Misperceptions of Underserved Student's Achievement".
This conference is designed to bring together Duquesne University and the Pittsburgh community around issues related to improving education for all students, particularly the education of students in urban schools.
- Creating possibilities and accessible opportunities for diverse individuals and others in urban schools/communities.
