Kristina Kocher receives honors for her student leadership in the Duquesne University community

Kristina Kocher is an Elementary Education major in the School of Education. Kristina was involved in the Orientation Program as a Team Leader, Assistant Director and Director. Kristina also served on the Duquesne Program Council. She was the Assistant Director of the Senior Class Council and the transition chair of the Junior Class Council. She was also a member of Phi Lambda Sigma, Phi Eta Sigma and the Freshmen Class Advisory Council. Kristina earned and maintained a Dean's list QPA for all four years.

During Senior Celebration (March 31) she was one of six students awarded a Student Life Award for Excellence in Student Leadership.

This past Tuesday, April 16, she was also awarded Student Organization Leader of the Year as a leader who has made significant contributions to the University and her organization over the past year.

On May 3, she will be awarded a Senior Award by the Student Government Association (SGA).
