50% Tuition Scholarship
The tuition scholarship represents our commitment to ensuring that the best-prepared teachers are available for the classrooms of the future. It’s our way of responding to a variety of adverse factors in the current market.
Who is eligible?
Fall 2016 freshmen accepted to our School of Education will receive a 50% tuition scholarship.
These scholarships are renewable for four years of undergraduate study as long as the student remains enrolled full-time in the School of Education.
What are the details of the scholarship?
Students will be eligible for additional funds if they live on-campus and/or have SAT scores (Math and Critical Reading) of 1250 or greater.
Additional grant funds are available to out-of-state and minority applicants.
All applicants who complete a FAFSA will be considered for federal, state and institutional need based grants, loans and student employment.
The scholarship will keep pace with annual tuition and fee increases.
Why this scholarship initiative?
These scholarships are a response to declining enrollments within schools of education nationally due to cutbacks in funding to school districts.
