OTD Application Requirements

 Applications will be accepted starting Summer of 2013

 

 

Academic Requirements:

  1. Completed a degree in occupational therapy with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
  2. Current state license and NBCOT Certification
  3. Current membership in the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)

Application Requirements:

  1. Completion of online application through OTCAS
  2. Completion of Duquesne supplemental application
  3. Official transcripts from all schools attended submitted to OTCAS
  4. Personal statement of no more than 2 pages that describes the applicant's personal and professional development goals, expectations of how this degree will contricute to their professional growth and initial descriptions of potential doctoral capstone projects.
  5. Two letters of recommendation from a professional or academic source
  6. Phone interview with the department
  7. Agreement to attend on-campus OTD Orientation and Capstone events
