Application for 2014-2015 Appellate Moot Court Board Membership
The 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 Appellate Moot Court Board Executive Boards, with approval from the Faculty Advisory Committee (the Committee) will select new members. The Executive Boards will consider the following factors in selecting the 2014-2015 members:
3. Legal Research and Writing class performance
4. Six-minute oral argument of his or her LRW appellate brief, to be held April 26, 2014
Notes to Applicants
By signing the application you are waiving your rights to maintain the confidentiality of your grades and your performance in the Legal Research and Writing program, but note that all information supplied in relation to this application will be kept confidential by the AMCB Executive Board and the Committee. It is critical that you also take a serious and realistic look at all other commitments you might have during the 2014-2015 academic year in order to determine whether you will have sufficient time to devote to the significant academic demands of an appellate moot court competition.
By submitting this application you are agreeing to cooperate with the AMCB Executive Board throughout the selection process. This includes submitting an accurate and truthful application packet, as well as participating in a mock oral argument on April 26, 2014. This application must be completed and submitted in its entirety NO LATER THAN Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at 6:00 p.m. Please email your completed application and your resume to Sarah Molinero. Please be sure to include your name in the subject line of your email (i.e., John Doe - AMCB Application). Receipt of your application will be confirmed, and sign up sheets for students' six-minute oral arguments will be posted on Tuesday, April 22, 2014, on the door of the AMCB office, located in the basement of the library, Room G-15.
