Education Law and Policy Society
The purpose of the Education Law and Policy Society is to present Duquesne University Law School students and faculty with pertinent issues facing lawyers who represent educational institutions, whether in public school systems or institutions of higher learning. Additionally, the Society focuses on facilitating scholarly debate on important policy considerations in the arena of education for those students who hope to become civic leaders.

Nancy E. Potter joined Education Law Center in 2012. She is the staff Attorney in Western Pennsylvania office located in Pittsburgh. Nancy works on cases and projects in all major areas of education advocacy, focusing on school climate issues and library improvement. Nancy graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and received her undergraduate degree from Oklahoma State University. She served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Oliver J. Lobaugh. Prior to joining ELC, Nancy represented abused, neglected and at-risk youth in the foster care system.
