Len Petrancosta started his career as an entrepreneur, owning and operating local restaurants for many years. He worked in sales with Sysco, the world's largest food distribution, and in 2001, was named senior vice president and was responsible for the company's marketing, merchandising, operations, human resources and finance departments. He became an executive vice president in 2004, and President and CEO of Sysco's Pittsburgh division in 2008 - a position he held until his retirement in 2011.
Len is currently COO for Peak Performance management, a sales and leadership training and coaching company in Pittsburgh. He leads a world class leadership curriculum at Peak Performance in partnership with The Leadership Challenge. Len works with numerous companies in the Pittsburgh area, engaging leaders and leadership teams, using The Leadership Challenge curriculum by Jim Kouzes and Barry Posner as the cornerstone of his work.
Len sits on the board of directors for Light of Life and Christian Evangelistic Economic Development (CEED), and volunteers in the executive corps of the Bayer Center for Nonprofit Management.
