Continuing Professional Education
As the paralegal profession grows and matures, the need for coursework that will enhance the professional development of practicing paralegals becomes more pressing. For that reason, the Paralegal Institute will continue its practice of offering coursework to those practicing in the field. Some of this coursework will follow the fall term (11 week) format while other courses (depending on the subject matter) will meet for less than the full term. Practicing paralegals who complete any course in the curriculum will receive a transcript reflecting completion of the course.
A description of all courses in the curriculum can be found on this website. Other course offerings and seminars will be described in periodic mailings that are sent to those interested in enrolling in these classes. To enroll in any of the courses offered in the Institute's broad curriculum, simply contact the Paralegal Institute office and request a schedule of upcoming classes for the term in which you are interested along with a CPE (Continuing Professional Education) application.
For more information on the CPE Program, please contact the Institute office at 412.396.1643 or via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org. The Paralegal Institute is approved by the American Bar Association.
