Information Technology Curriculum

The comprehensive 36-credit curriculum addresses information technology from an organizational and management perspective as well as application of analysis and design techniques to deliver technology and leadership in the business environment. Special elective courses can be developed for specific cohorts. Five leadership courses, five IT courses, and two electives comprise the degree.

Information Technology Core Curriculum - 15 Credits
  • System Analysis and Delivery
  • Information System Strategy and Governance

Choose three (3):

  • Information System Security and Assurance
  • IT Regulatory and Ethical Issues
  • IT Program and Project Management
  • Special Topics in IT
Leadership Core Curriculum - 15 Credits
  • Introduction to the Graduate Study of Leadership
  • Conflict Resolution
  • Leading People and Managing Relationships
  • Leading Technical Change in Organizations
  • Leadership Capstone or Leadership Colloquium (choose one)
Electives - 6 Credits

Students may choose electives from courses offered in any graduate program in the School of Leadership and Professional Advancement. Six credits are transferable into the program from other graduate institutions pending approval of the program director.
