Graduate Assistantship Application Information
A limited number of Graduate Assistantships are available. These awards are assigned on a competitive base to full-time graduate students enrolled in the M.S. in Media Arts and Technology Program. Graduate Assistants work 20 hours a week, and perform one or more of the following duties: faculty research assistance, teaching assistance, and administrative assistance.
With this award, Graduate Assistants may receive up to nine credits of tuition remission for the fall and the sprint semesters. Additionally, graduate assistants receive a stipend for each semester they are awarded the assistantship. Appointments, which are made after the applicant had been accepted for admission, are for a period of one semester. Reappointments are made subsequent semester based upon demonstrated competence and satisfactory academic performance. Graduate assistants must maintain an overall GPA of 3.5, and should not hold another full-time employment elsewhere.
