Center for International Relations

The Center for International Relations directs the International Relations academic program at Duquesne University

We offer students an understanding of the historical, political and cultural forces that shape the interactions between states, international organizations, multi-national corporations and other international actors.

In recent decades, the forces of globalization have increased awareness of the interdependent and inter-related nature of modern society. A commitment to promoting peace and justice in global society is essential to the mission of Duquesne and the Spiritans.

Interdisciplinary Symposia and Events

The Center for International Relations recently hosted anInternational Symposium on St. Giuseppe Moscati, presented by the Duquesne University Center for International Relations and Office of Mission and Identity in collaboration with the Order of Malta American Association and the Honorary Consulate of Italy in Pittsburgh.
