Organizational Ethics in Health Care
Dr. Gerard Magill
While much of bioethics discourse focuses on clinical and scientific issues, there is increasing attention being given to the significance of organizational ethics in health care. This area constitutes an ongoing research project about the theory and practice of organizational ethics in health care, including the issue of medical error & patient safety. Several projects have been finished, and a new project on ethics and accountability in health care governance will be completed in 2012.
