4-1 Masters Digital Media Arts (Multimedia Development)

The 4-1 Program enables you to complete both a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in 5 years. During your undergraduate program you take 12 specified graduate credits. They fulfill 9 credits of your Major electives and, in addition, 3 credits count towards your undergraduate Liberal Arts electives. Then, you complete an additional 24 credits (instead of the normal 36 credits) for your Master's Degree.

  • Digital Media Arts Major Core (6 credits):
    • JMA 331 - Elements of Flash
    • JMA 440 - Professional Development & Project Management
  • Multimedia Development Concentration Core (9 credits):
    • JMA 361 - Digital Imaging Techniques
    • JMA 402 - Visual Design & Layout
    • JMA 340W - Media Writing

Required Graduate Courses taken during Senior (4th) Year of Undergraduate Study: (3 of these credits must be applied to your Liberal Arts electives.)
