Ph.D. students may take additional elective courses on the recommendation of their supervisor and committee.
All students are expected to attend departmental seminars.
Ph.D. students are required to take either:
(a) 6 credit hours of Advanced Topics, or
(b) 4 credit hours of Advanced Topics and one 3-credit graduate-level elective.
Students can take department seminar for a total of 2 credits.
Biological Research will be a pass/fail course.
