Post-Baccalaureate Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) Weekend Program

Earn Your Doctor of Pharmacy Degree in Four Years

Recognized for our innovative approaches to the needs of today's students, the Mylan School of Pharmacy developed the country's first and only Post-Baccalaureate Doctor of Pharmacy Degree Weekend Program. This unique format combines on-site weekend courses and educational technologies enabling you to earn a Doctor of Pharmacy degree in four years.

A Flexible, Innovative Program

Designed specifically for students who need the flexibility and support of a weekend pathway as they manage school, work, and family, each year of our weekend Doctor of Pharmacy program is 11 months on Saturdays and Sundays. Accompanying educational technologies enhance on-site teaching. While classes meet exclusively on weekends, experiential education requirements require full-time participation.

Students enrolled in this program must meet prerequisite course requirements and already hold a baccalaureate degree from an accredited four-year college or university in the United States. The Post-Baccalaureate weekend program is not a PharmCAS participant. Class size is limited to approximately 40 students.

A Tradition of Excellence

Recognized as one of the nation's most respected schools of pharmacy and a leader in global pharmacy education, the Mylan School of Pharmacy offers Weekend Doctor of Pharmacy students specialized curricular options including pharmaceutical science research and certificates in pharmacy management, geriatrics, immunology, and pharmacotherapy. Further, graduates of the Weekend Program enjoy all the same benefits as graduates of the traditional program.
