Walgreens Specialty Practice PGY1 Residency
The goal of the Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy and Duquesne University Pharmacy Practice Residency with a focus in specialty pharmacy is to provide pharmacy residents with opportunities to develop the fundamental skills necessary to excel in the specialty pharmacy environment. Residents will also gain insights on the pharmacy practice management issues that can affect the delivery of care for patients taking specialty medications. In addition, the partnership allows the resident the opportunity to acquire experience in health/wellness services and develop teaching and research skills.
