APhA-ASP Auction

Mylan School of Pharmacy

The Duquesne University chapter of The American Pharmacists Association Academy of Student Pharmacists (APhA-ASP) hosted their Annual Spring Auction on February 26, 2014 in Mellon Hall. The hosts and auctioneers for the event were Dr. Riccardo Boni and Dr. Robert Laux. According to chapter President Jordan Moore, the auction raised over $1,500. Proceeds from the event will benefit chapter members' reimbursement for attendance to the Annual APhA-ASP conference in Orlando, FL this spring, as well as patient screenings on campus and in the community. The auction featured more than 40 donations from local businesses, organizations, and campus professors. Some of the prizes included lunch with a professor, gift cards to nearby restaurants, and tickets to local arts performances.
