Center for Pharmacy Care Fall Flu Clinics

Mylan School of Pharmacy

The Center for Pharmacy Care hosted its first on-campus Flu Clinics this semester: one on Wednesday, October 2 in the Student Union in front of Student Health Services, and the other on Monday, October 7, in the Bayer Learning Center. Drs. Suzanne Higginbotham, Robert Laux, Jonn Bailey, Haley Choi, and Sarah Deutsch vaccinated over 150 employees with the help of student pharmacists on advanced practice pharmacy experience (APPE) rotations in the Center and others involved with APhA-ASP Operation Immunization. The event was a great success toward our goal of achieving 100% vaccination of our employees and students against the flu this year. The Center for Pharmacy Care will be hosting two additional Flu Clinics on campus, on Monday, November 4, from 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Bayer Learning Center room 101A; and Wednesday, November 6, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Student Health Services in the Student Union. Faculty, staff, and students are all welcome to receive the flu vaccine.
