Program Type

Travel and study with students from US institutions. Third-party provider agreement with The Alliance for Global Education, facilitated by Duquesne University ’s OIP.

Courses

Courses in the following disciplines: Chinese language (all levels + intensive), economics, environment, film studies, international business, international relations, internships, political science, sociology

English and Chinese

Academic Calendar

Fall Semester: late August - mid December

Spring Semester: early February - early June

Housing and Meals

Students in Shanghai live with Chinese roommates and students in Beijing are paired with Chinese language partners. Meals are not included in the Alliance program fee. Students may eat at any of the university cafeterias or at the small restaurants near campus. They may also cook in the kitchens their dorm or apartment.

Services Provided

Full schedule of excursions, events and lectures , on-site orientation, medical insurance, on-site student services.

Study Abroad Fee $250

Round-trip Airfare: Current costs as per your arrangement

Housing/Meals $2100 - $2800

Personal Expenses $2500 (approx.)
