We will insure that current new construction and renovation of existing space include sustainable design. We will manage these projects in a manner that provides the best combination of sustainable design and economic benefit to the University.
In the wake of continuous record-breaking enrollment, Duquesne University is completing the construction of Des Places Living Learning Center, a 12-story residence hall. Over 400 beds will be available for upperclassmen in suite-style configurations.
In alignment with Duquesne’s commitment to environmental stewardship, the building will be constructed to earn Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification of the U.S. Green Building Council.
