Sustainability
Facilities Management is committed to sustainable operations and seeks to raise campus awareness of the benefits of recycling and other green practices. These include cleaning and purchasing decisions and reduction and reuse to complement recycling.
We recognize that all green practices resonate, not only within our campus boundaries, but, within our region as well. As administrators, students, staff and faculty, the sustainable options we are exposed to at Duquesne will influence behavior for generations and improve the measurable cleanliness of the local environment.
What and Where to Recycle
- Standard products such as all paper types, cardboard, plastics, glass and metals may be deposited together in the blue recycle bins located throughout campus.
