Campus Diversity Survey Results
In September 2010, Duquesne conducted a University-wide survey regarding diversity. The information shared will become baseline data about the perceptions of the campus community and provide crucial information needed to determine strategies for improving the campus climate.
The results are now available for you to review. The President’s Advisory Council on Diversity will be discussing the results in a more formal manner in the fall.
Many participants entrusted us with their insights and feelings in areas of campus diversity related to religious affiliation, disability, gender, sexual orientation and race/ethnic background. Individual answers are and will remain confidential. The survey was completed according to the standards of the Institutional Review Board, which governs the protocols for research conducted on campus.
The diligence of the Campus Climate Committee for Diversity will advance our unified strategic goal to “become an increasingly diverse community and sustain an environment in which human diversity is valued."
