The 26th annual Spring Clean-Up will be held Saturday, April 18th, 2015. Sponsored by Spiritan Campus Ministry, Spring Clean-Up helps to strengthen Duquesne's longstanding relationship with the greater Pittsburgh community. The event is aimed at raising the consciousness of the participants to the community in which they live, while at the same time showing the greater Pittsburgh community that we care about them.

The entire Duquesne University community is invited to participate; students, faculty, staff, and administration. Students groups and organizations, as well as all University departments are asked to form teams. Each team will need a leader who will be responsible for organizing that particular team and be the main contact person for them.

In the link at the top you will find a "Team Sign Up Sheet". This sheet must be filled out and returned to the Spiritan Campus Ministry Center, Towers or the Spiritan Campus Ministry Office in the Administration Building by Friday April 10th. We will then contact the team leader and inform him or her as to all information the team members will need to know. On Saturday April 18th all participants will gather on the Mellon Patio at 9am for registration and breakfast. The teams will then depart from Mellon Patio for their sites. We are scheduled to work until approximately 12:30pm. Lunch will also be provided for all who participate. All volunteers must wear closed-toed shoes for their safety and if possible Duquesne clothing on the day of the event.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact Kate Lecci at X5093 or at leccik@duq.edu. Over the last twenty-five years those who have participated in Spring Clean-Up have not only learned more abut the local community but have walked away knowing that they have made a difference in the community. We hope that you will join us for this event!
