Theology On Tap

Theology on Tap is an opportunity for students to meet in a comfortable setting to discuss relevant faith issues.  Students of all faiths who are over 21 are invited to come, grab a beer, enjoy free appetizers, and talk about modern, relevant faith issues.

Please join us for our first Theology on Tap of the spring semester!

Topic:

The topic for the evening will be Joy.  Pope Francis' first apostolic exhortation, Evangelii Gaudium (The Joy of the Gospel), outlines the Pope's vision of a missionary Church and what it means to open our hearts daily to God's unfailing love.  Or, as renowned author on Cathollic spirituality, Henry Nouwen states, "Joy does not simply happen to us.  We have to choose joy and keep choosing it every day."  Join for an interactive conversation about joy and its application to our lives.

When:

Tuesday, February 24th, 8 pm

Where:

Red Ring Restaurant

Special Guest:

Rev. Bill Christy, C.S.Sp. will facilitate the topic

All over 21 are welcome!  For more information please contact Matt Walsh at walshmj@duq.edu or X5045
