Meet the Staff

Nicole FeldhuesNicole Feldhues

Nicole Feldhues joined Duquesne University as Director of Career Services in July of 2008. Serving in this role, Nicole oversees the coordination of career services, programs, job search events, and employer relations for the students, faculty, and alumni of Duquesne University. She has more than 22 years of experience working in career services and student development in a higher education setting. She spent the majority of those years at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana where she held various positions in the Career Center, including Assistant Director and Business Fellows Project Manager. Prior to Ball State, Nicole served as an Educational Leadership Consultant for Kappa Alpha Theta Fraternity.

Ms. Feldhues is an experienced speaker on topics related to career development, job-search planning, and workplace professionalism and makes educational presentations to both university classes and professional organizations.

She currently serves on the Executive Board of the Western Pennsylvania Career Services Association and the Board of Directors of the Pennsylvania Association of Colleges and Employers. She is a member of NACE - the National Association of College and Employers and EACE - the Eastern Association of Colleges and Employers. Nicole also actively participates on the Board of Directors of the Pittsburgh Airport Area Chamber of Commerce where she serves as Education and Workforce Development Chairperson.

Nicole earned a Master of Science in Student Affairs Administration from Ball State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Education from Washington University in St. Louis. A native of Pittsburgh, Nicole has enjoyed living and working in her hometown again. She resides in Moon Township with her husband, Bill, and their three children, Hannah, Sophie, and Will.

Kim has been a member of the Career Services team at Duquesne University for nearly 25 years. She manages the On Campus Interview Program and develops and maintains relationships with our employer partners. Kim also oversees and administers the Post Graduate Outcomes Survey.

Linda LoewerLinda Loewer

Internship Coordinator

 Linda assists students in finding internships in the field of their interests and preparing them for their internship search. She also oversees the Internship Program, ensuring that internships are credit worthy. In addition, Linda works with employers to develop their internship programs that benefit both the student and the company. 

Linda has worked in the Career Services Center at Duquesne University since 2000.

Charlotte PattonCharlotte Patton

Career Counselor, Bayer School of Natural and Environmental Sciences, School of Pharmacy, Rangos School of Health Science, School of Nursing

Charlotte coordinates programs and services for students, alumni, and faculty in the School of Pharmacy, School of Nursing, Rangos School of Health Sciences, Bayer School of Natural and Environmental Sciences, and Biomedical Engineering. Charlotte also serves as liaison with the Athletics Department, Center for Student Involvement, the Spiritan Division, and the Counseling and Wellbeing Center. In addition, she presents educational programs and meets individually with students and alumni.

Charlotte has been in the field of education for many years. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Duquesne University.

Coralyn McCauleyCoralyn McCauley

Career Counselor, McAnulty College and Graduate School of Liberal Arts

Coralyn coordinates programs and services for students, alumni, and faculty in the College and Graduate School of Liberal Arts. She serves as liaison to the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, Honors College, and Office of Service-Learning. She provides weekly walk-in career counseling at College Hall and at the Career Services Center for all students. In addition, she leads the Career Services' marketing team to promote the department's programs and services and presents educational programs.

Coralyn has worked at Duquesne University since 2007. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Michigan State University and a Ph.D. in Social Psychology from the University of Western Australia.

Debra coordinates programs and services for students, alumni, and faculty in the Palumbo and Donahue Schools of Business Administration. She serves as liaison with Commuter Affairs and the Office of Residence Life. Debra presents educational programs and meets individually with students and alumni.

Debra is a National Certified Counselor (NCC), a Licensed Professional Counselor in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (LPC), and is a designated Master Career Counselor by the National Career Development Association. Having joined the staff in 2008, Debra has over 15 years' experience in the Career Counseling field.

Margaret ArdilloMargaret Ardillo

Event and Communications Coordinator

Margaret coordinates events and communication efforts for Career Services including serving as the job fair coordinator. She coordinates communication efforts with students, alumni, staff, and employers through newsletters, social media, and other digital and print content.

Margaret joined the staff in September 2016, transitioning from working in the Office of Residence Life as a Resident Director and previously a Graduate Assistant. Proud to be a "Double Duke", Margaret received both her Bachelor of Arts in Modern Languages and Communication Studies (2012) and Master of Arts in Integrated Marketing Communication (2014) from Duquesne University.
