Job Fairs

Career Services sponsors a number of job fairs during the academic year to assist you in your search for internships, full-time and part-time work. The fairs are open to  Duquesne University students and alumni wishing to break away from the often anonymous on-line application process and meet face-to-face with multiple companies in one convenient location.

 

Remember, before you attend a job fair, follow these tips to maximize your success!

Fall Job and Internship Fair

The Fall Job & Internship Fair, our largest of the year, is open to all Duquesne University students and alumni.  This fair attracts employers seeking to fill positions in finance, communications, science, non-profit, public service, technology and more!! There is no fee however pre-registration is requested.

Spring Job and Internship Fair

The Spring Job and Internship Fair attracts employers seeking to fill positions in finance, communications, science, non-profit, public service, technology and more!!  Perfect for students seeking post-graduation work or a summer internship experience! There is no fee; however, pre-registration is requested.

Pharmacy Career Fair

Held exclusively for Mylan School of Pharmacy students, the annual Pharmacy Career Fair exposes them to a multitude of pharmacy career prospects available in retail, hospitals, nursing homes, and/or government organizations. No fee, but pre-registration is requested.

Government & Nonprofit Career Expo

This career expo is sponsored by the Pittsburgh Career Services Consortium--comprised of Duquesne University, Carnegie Mellon University, the University of Pittsburgh, and Point Park University.  What used to be the .Gov Federal Career Day and the .Org Nonprofit Job Fair, have now combined into the Government & Nonprofit Career Expo and will be held in teh spring of 2013. Students and alumni from all 45 WestPACS schools are invited to attend this event free of charge. This is an excellent opportunity for people seeking a career in or interested in learning more about government and nonprofit work.


Spring and Fall Western PA Collegiate Job & Internship Fairs Sponsored by WestPACS

This is the largest job fair in the Pittsburgh region for college students and alumni; Duquesne University students and alumni who pre-register attend for free. All students and alumni who do not pre-register can still attend, however you will be asked to pay a $10 cash-only fee at the door.
