Ann Therese Lambo & Emily Squiller
Assistant Director and Director
Hello there! My name is Emily Squiller and I'm the Director of Orientation. I am a senior Early Childhood Education major. Outside of Orientation I am involved in Pi Lambda Theta and Kappa Delta Epsilon honors societies and TOMS Club. While I'm not doing all that or studying or sleeping or eating, chances are I'm running, taking spur of the moment adventures (occasionally to other countries), drawing or trying to nail the perfect Instagram. To all the freshmen and new students: I encourage you to find what makes you happy. This is the time of your life and therefore it is up to you to welcome each day with an open mind and make it the time of your life. Let yourself be who you truly are and surround yourself with positivity. Good things are to come for you at Duquesne.
Hi! I'm Ann Therese Lambo and I'm the Assistant Director for Orientation 2016. I'm a junior majoring in Speech-Language Pathology and minoring in Special Education. I love so many things about Duquesne it is hard for me to pick just one, but I'd have to say the people here make the experience magical! Every single person I know is so unique and always willing to use their talents to help out. People are always ready with a smile and a wave, everywhere from the library to A-walk. The professors and staff here are incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate; they're always there to help me succeed. Beyond Duquesne, I have had the time of my life here in Pittsburgh. There's always something new to discover, whether it is a coffee shop or new band--believe me, you'll never be bored!
