Duquesne Leadership Breakfast Series Kicks Off with ‘The Art and Science of Storytelling’

The power of storytelling will be captured by Dr. Don Marinelli on Tuesday, March 26, in the first session of the Duquesne University School of Leadership and Professional Advancement's 10-part Leadership Breakfast Series (www.duq.edu/leadershipseries). Marinelli co-founded Carnegie Mellon University's Entertainment Technology Center and retired from CMU as a professor of drama and arts management.

The importance and power of storytelling has been a topic of great interest for leaders. Marinelli, a Duquesne alumnus, will explore why storytelling is such a powerful tool and discuss how to structure a story for maximum impact and meaning in The Art and Science of Storytelling, from 8 to 10 a.m. in the Power Center Ballroom West.

A continental breakfast will be served at 7:30 a.m. The cost of each session in the Leadership Breakfast Series is $45. A discount is available for participants who register for five or more sessions.

For more information, call the School of Leadership and Professional Advancement at 412.396.5600 or email leadership@duq.edu.
