Know Your Numbers is Back!
This year's Know Your Numbers campaign runs from April 1 to December 31, 2013.
How to Participate:
- Complete a Know Your Numbers general health
screening of your body mass index (BMI), cholesterol
level, blood pressure and blood glucose level and then
return documentation form to the Benefits Office. - Complete Wellness Profile via online tool offered
through your health insurance plan. Use the directions
and links below to access the Profile used by your
Duquesne insurance provider. It's helpful to have your
screening numbers to complete the
Profile.

The campaign is open to full-time Duquesne employees enrolled in a Duquesne medical plan. See full campaign details here.
News from the Center for Pharmacy Care
The Duquesne University Center for Pharmacy Care, located in the Muldoon Building, offers the following FREE immunizations to all University employees when they present their University Medical Identification card (i.e., Cigna OAP or UPMC.)
- Hepatitis A
- Hepatitis B
- Influenza Immunization
- Pneumococcal Immunization
- Shingles
- TDaP - Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis (Whooping Cough)
Children up to age 6
Preteens and teens
Age 11 to adult

Duquesne University offers its employees the chance to actively participate in an extensive wellness program to help them stay healthy and fit.
Wellness in Motion includes physical fitness, emotional, spiritual, even financial wellness. Full-time employees who participate can enter into drawings for prizes. Duquesne employees should follow the links to login to DORI and learn more.
Medication Therapy Management
Full-time Duquesne employees with chronic health conditions such as high cholesterol, heart disease and diabetes can learn how to take their medications correctly and manage their symptoms, helping them stay healthier. Sponsored by the Mylan School of Pharmacy.

Fitness
Work out, lose weight, and gain energy through exercise at the Power Center. Sponsored by the fitness program of the Recreation Department.
Education
Classes, lectures and services will help you learn more about how to eat right, prevent disease, begin an exercise program, and stay well mentally, financially and spiritually.
Off-Campus Pursuits
Many of you work out and enjoy activities at your local fitness club. You can include these activities as part of your participation logs. Find out about tracking these and joining in other off-campus wellness activities.
Incentive Opportunities
When you participate in Wellness events and screenings, you earn vouchers that can be submitted to the Benefits Office to be included in the monthly drawing for prizes. Learn more.
