Pass/No Pass Electives

With the approval of the Academic Advisor, a junior or senior may take one course a semester on a pass/no pass (P/N) basis. It must be determined by the advisor that the course will expand and enrich the student's experience. If passed, the credits will count for graduation, but neither grade nor credits will be calculated in the quality point average.

Once a course has been identified as a pass/no pass elective, the course must be completed as such, and the grade submitted must be a P or an N. No required course may be taken on an elective pass/no pass basis. The decision to elect the pass/no pass option must be made no later than the end of the add/drop period.
