The Honorable James G. Carr
The Honorable James G. Carr is a judge for the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Ohio. He was nominated by President Clinton and confirmed by the Senate in 1994. Judge Carr has been the Chief Judge from 2005 to the present. Prior to becoming a judge, Mr. Carr has pracitced both practiced and taught law. He was a professor at the University of Toledo College of Law from 1970-1979. From 1979-1974 he was U.S. Magistrate for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. Judge Carr has also served on the U.S. Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court from 2002-2008.
