Undecided Engineering

Not sure which engineering discipline is right for you? The Undecided Engineering program allows you to begin your engineering journey while exploring your interests and career goals.

As an undecided engineering student, you will complete the same first-year curriculum as students in all engineering majors. Through foundational courses in mathematics, science and engineering, you'll build the knowledge and skills needed for success while gaining exposure to different engineering fields.

Working closely with faculty advisors, you'll have the opportunity to learn about the various engineering disciplines offered at Duquesne and discover the path that best aligns with your interests. At the end of your first year, you will select an engineering major and continue into your chosen program.

Whether you're deciding between multiple engineering fields or simply want more time to explore your options, Undecided Engineering provides the flexibility to make an informed decision while staying on track toward graduation.
