Student Honor Society Event to Benefit Women’s Shelter, Increase Awareness

The Duquesne University chapter of national leadership honor society Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK) is sponsoring a fall festival to benefit the Women's Center and Shelter of Pittsburgh and promote awareness of domestic violence.

The Fall Festival for Change will be held on Saturday, Sept. 22, from 1 to 4 p.m. on Duquesne's Academic Walk. For a $5 donation, attendees can enjoy carnival games, live music, prize giveaways and food, and browse informational booths to help increase domestic violence awareness.

Various organizations across campus are participating in this fundraiser, donating raffle baskets and sponsoring games. All proceeds will be donated to the Women's Center and Shelter of Pittsburgh.
