Major and Planned Giving Opportunities
Through named and endowed gifts, you can make an enduring impact on our students' lives - for years to come, or even forever:
Scholarships and Financial Aid: Duquesne currently awards more than $100 million in need- and merit-based aid annually, but if we are to carry on our Spiritan mission, funding must still be substantially increased - especially endowed funds to ensure perpetual support.
Academic Quality: Teaching and learning have always been at the heart of our identity. We seek to make outstanding academic programs even greater, and to foster innovative new initiatives that leverage our intellectual assets to address societal needs.
Student Experience: The Duquesne experience is more than a few years of classrooms, labs and libraries. It is a transformational education for the mind, heart and spirit. Donor support allows us to make the "extras" standard.
Schools and Programs: Many of Duquesne's schools, departments and programs have identified their own priorities in each of these areas. Learn more about opportunities to support aspects of the Duquesne experience that mean the most to you.
There are just as many ways to make your major gift. You may wish to consider a wide range of Planned Giving options, such as bequests, charitable gift annuities, beneficiary designations or trusts. You may also make gifts of property, such as appreciated securities or real estate.
Gifts may be directed toward immediate operational needs or used to establish endowed funds providing perpetual support for the programs or activities of your choice.
Whatever your personal priorities or circumstances, there are opportunities for you to leave an lasting legacy at Duquesne.
