Fair Trade Week Raises Awareness, Support for Fair Trade Practices Worldwide
Duquesne University's Spiritan Campus Ministry, in collaboration with Catholic Relief Services and on-campus and community partners, will present the annual Fair Trade Week event in time for holiday shopping.
The goal of Fair Trade Week is to educate the community on the ways in which Fair Trade practices can help those in the margins to improve their lives through better wages and working conditions, as well as to demonstrate how easy it is to support artisans and farmers locally.
When: Monday, Dec. 2-Thursday, Dec. 5, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Where: Duquesne Union, PNC Atrium
