Duquesne University is notifying the general public, that the Commission makes available the opportunity to submit third party comments regarding the institution’s compliance with standards for accreditation, requirements of affiliation, policies and procedures, and applicable federal regulatory requirements in accordance with the Commission’s Third-Party Comments Policy.

Accreditation

The Ph.D. program in Clinical Psychology is accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA), a specialized accrediting agency recognized by both the U.S. Department of Education (USDE) and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).

The English as a Second Language (ESL) program is accredited by the Commission on English Language Program Accreditation (CEA), a specialized accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (USDE).

Accreditation

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration program, the Master of Business Administration programs, the Master of Science in Accountancy program, and the Master of Science in Information Systems Management program are accredited by AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, an international professional accrediting agency recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).

All Teacher Education programs are currently accredited by the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE). Additionally, all Teacher Education programs are currently in the process of being accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP).
