Biography

Christy Dom is a Clinical Coordinator and Assistant Professor in the Physician Assistant Department. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree with a Minor in Biology in 2005 from Duquesne University. In August of 2006, she graduated from Duquesne University with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree. Prior to joining the faculty in December of 2018, she worked clinically as a physician assistant in trauma surgery at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh for 2 years and then went on to work in the urgent care setting for over 10 years. Along with duties and responsibilities as Clinical Coordinator, Christy serves as an assistant for various lab-based courses in the didactic year. She also teaches Preparing for Clinical Practice in the first year of the program.
